A super high strength dark rum from Bermuda. Despite the 75.5% of Gosling's Black Seal 151, this is a very smooth rum, and it's utterly delicious. Well worth trying.

A half hour after the initial sip has dispersed and your tastebuds have recovered, you can actually start to enjoy the taste. Perhaps I should go back to the "weak" Woods 100° proof to save my stomach from melting.
Excellent
This is my Go-2 rum for the traditional Dark & Stormy....just the right amount of spice and molasses ....$50.00 ????? ...I buy this for $21.95 at our local supermarket
151 goslings let you know who is the boss
I need to try this again. After ordering the gosling 80 , which I love, was given this instead and didnt enjoy it at all. Every sip the burn obliterated the taste and other rum heads i was with agreed. Theres that distinct gosling taste but it seemed too buried in the proofing to appreciate. But I will try it again just to see if I still think the same. Maybe its just more of an aquired taste. I dont mind high proofing as long as I can still taste something other than alcohol! gosling know what they're doing more thsn I do. Maybe its more of an aquired taste or depends in your moid at the time. Its certainly the strongest rum I've ever tried!
