Flor de Caña 18 is a very well-aged expression from Nicaragua. This was awarded Double Gold medals at the 2006 and 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Spiced and crisp.
Full bodied and quite thick with dry oak, some cocoa, spices, toffee nut and allspice.
Long, tingling, vanilla spice and nutty char.

Was bought a bottle for my birthday, having tasted the 12year was really looking forward to this. Honestly I was underwhelmed, it doesn't taste bad, I just never cared about drinking it. If you find it cheaper it's worth getting. But I won't buy another bottle.
Absolute stellar rum. Even my vodka drinking, anti dark spirits friend of mine couldn't stop drinking it.
Beware you won't be able to go back to the 12 year after having the 18 year. This is quite simple the best drink I've ever had. It is so smooth.
