The first release from Scotland's Dark Matter Distillers is Dark Matter Spiced Rum - very exciting stuff! Created in Banchory by two brothers, Jim and John Ewen, Dark Matter Spiced Rum is a molasses-based rum that features full-bodied notes of long pepper, fresh ginger, green peppercorns and allspice.
Lovely hint of ginger and plenty of spice at the end all spice is good and contrary to what other people think there's no cloves in it
This will be my second bottle, the first was a gift . . . there's no going back, it' is quality spiced Rum.

This is tough to drink. It's got a spicy heat to it. It's a bit like a curry. I want to like it, but it's just wrong. I'll be giving this to guests I don't like.
