
The Damoiseau range of rhum agricole is produced in Guadeloupe, and the expressions are matured in bourbon casks. This particular rhum slumbered in said bourbon casks for 5 years before being bottled at 42% ABV.
Fresh fruit galore, with orange, mango, pear, and green apple. A layer of maple syrup covers it all.
Still rich in juicy fruit, but soft peppery notes begin to develop on the palate, with a hint of salted caramel.
Brown sugar, green olive, toasted oak.
