Powerfully smoky rum from the Cut Rum range. Made with a base of Jamaican rum and smoked using oak chips, this will stand out in cocktails and might make for an intriguing alternative postprandial tipples for people with a penchant for peaty whisky.
Struck match, coffee bean bitterness balanced by vanilla.

Beautifully balanced, smoky flavour. I've found my new favourite drink
I tried a smoked rum and a smoked rum is what I got, literally no beating around the bush. Beautiful smokey notes with hints of coffee, in love!
I bought a glass of this in a pub. Once. I nearly spat it out. My girlfriend tried it.,. She wretched. The barmaid tried it, threw the drink and took the bottle off the shelf. The most singularly disgusting drink I have ever tried (including naga ghost chili vodka mixed with tequila and tabasco sauce). Not so much smoky, more burnt dead thing. Akin to pouring cheap alcohol and the contents of an ashtray into your mouth at the same time. They taste also stays with you. It took several drinks and a late night kebab to get the taste out of my mouth. Never again
When I go to a lot of bars and asked for a smoked cocktail, I have been told that a lot of the times they smoke the drinks themselves instead of using actual smoked drinks! I was on a hunt to find a smoked rum and came across this, even on the nose I could smell the good quality from this drink, on the taste was an even better experience, just makes me realise the smoked cocktails I drink at bars are created so terribly!
I thought I'd be getting a coughy smokey dry rum because I had no expectations, but boyyy was I shocked. I'm not sure how they managed to perfect this but I love the tobacco and coffee notes in this, bought it for my dad and he said it's the best thing I have ever bought him!
