Being a retired Firefighter its a great tasting rum reminds of sitting on the fire engine after a long smokey job..
If you enjoy a peaty whisky & coffee this will appeal, & if not, you'll hate it. A young rum, but the coffee note adds depth, the smokiness gives it that grown up fireside feel & the touch of vanilla rounds everything off perfectly. I struggle to think of a run to catch my attention in quite the same way at this price.
Worst rum I’ve ever tasted! I can imagine if you’re a smoker and enjoy the taste of a cigarette then you might enjoy, but it just tasted like I’d drank it from an ashtray. As a non-smoker, replulsive. When I read of a smokey drink I assume oak wood chip and aromatic flavours, not 20 L&B after a night out. I had 4 sips and I can still taste the smoke the day after. Didn’t even finish my drink and will be trying to give the rest of the bottle away, such a shame I’ve had my eye on it in the supermarket for months too!
Got it as a present from my son to enjoy while smoking my cigars. Absolutely fantastic combination for some chilling time. It will definitely be a regular in the drinks cabinet
