A limited edition blend of light double-distilled rum from the Copeland Distillery in Donaghadee, Ireland, and dark rum from Barbados. Both were initially aged in ex-Bourbon barrels, before spending four months in Bordeaux Grand Cru red wine casks from the 2020 vintage. This Irish-Caribbean-French mash up was inspired by James Hamilton Jr, who first brought Bordeaux wine to Ireland in 1633, via Killyleagh Castle in County Down. Enjoy neat or in a cocktail.
Aromas of allspice, citrus, black peppercorn, oak and brown sugar. Velvety and rich with tropical fruit, orange and banana on the palate. A cherry and light vanilla note on the finish.
