Single estate rum from Chamarel in Mauritius. The estate-grown sugar cane used to make this rum is hand-harvested and pressed within four hours to capture its vibrant character. This is a blend of 2014 and 2016 vintage double copper pot distilled rum, aged in a host of four French oak casks and married for two years for a rich, complex profile, layered with toffee, spice, and candied nuts.
Baking spices, honeyed figs, roasted nuts, vanilla, and sticky toffee, with rich dried fruit depth. Warming woody spices and butterscotch combine with subtle nutty richness for the finish.
