That Boutique-y Rum Company has gone and bottled up a batch of 23 year old rum from the sadly closed Caroni Distillery in Trinidad! Though the Caroni may have closed, indie bottlers still manage to get their hands on parcels of the excellent rum to share its glory with the world. Delicious glory!
Batch 7 is a release of 326 bottles.
Cherry, jam tarts, hints of mineraly smoke and black tea, chocolate mousse.
BBQ pineapple, figs, dense caramel, a slight savoury hint of oily oak.
Peppermint, dark chocolate, a smidge of diesel lingering.
