Another batch of brilliance from Trinidad's long-lost Caroni distillery joins our exclusive Master of Malt collection. Column distilled in 1997, this rum was treated to a 22-year maturation before we came along and filled precisely 405 bottles.

Sweet layers of charred pineapple, caramelised brown sugar, and creamy vanilla are backed by leathery old oak and stewed yellow plums, with a hint of burnt rubber in the distance.
Runny toffee sauce and hearty oak spice tangle, with warming notes of clove at the core cushioned by honeyed dates and dark, jammy berries.
There are notes of goji berries and aromatic rooibos tea on the finish, joined by a touch of treacle, candied nuts, oily oak, and a crackle of peppery heat.
