A rather fruity spiced rum from the Bush Rum Co.! This one makes fabulous use of ripe mangoes, which are used to flavour the tropical spirit. The fruity influence isn't too overwhelming, with a good dose of spice in there to balance it out. Mango Daiquiri, anyone?
Subtle mango fruitiness, with hints of vanilla and brown sugar leading to a spicy finish.
One of the smoothest rums I have ever had. No burn and slightly thick and sweet enough to go down easy. I get more vanilla taste and aroma from this with the mango underlying rather than over the top. Superb neat but try with a slice of lime and fresh lime juice.
Incredibly sweet and cloying which is a pity as the base flavours are nice, perfect in a cocktail though, ginger beer/ale, lime, lots of ice.
Definitely one to try. Very enjoyable. Knocked other rums down my top 5 favourites.
I was really impressed with this, a real taste of fresh mango and super easy drinking, mixes really well with ginger and in cocktails.
