Bumbu Rum XO small batch rum is produced from molasses in a distillery in Panama that dates back more than 120 years! Aged in American white oak bourbon barrels, the rum was then treated to a short finish in Andalusian white oak sherry barrels. Addicted to the original Bumboo. The black is not smooth and the finish is industrial. Tastes like it should have aged longer. Not a fan. Would not repurchase. Disappointing at the price point.
Love Bumbu original rum so was really looking forward to this, unfortunately not as smooth & easy to drink as the original & it has a slightly harsh aftertaste. Felt more like brandy than rum.
