Here we have a higher strength bottling of the Original expression from Bumbu, now bottled at 40% ABV! The aged Caribbean rum has had native spices added to it, inspired by 16th and 17th century recipes used by West Indian sailors. With tropical fruit and spices at the fore, a splash of ginger beer would do well to bring out those warmer notes.
Banoffee pie, oak spice and caramel, with touches of chocolate and allspice.
I’ve had rum from every corner of the world, this rum is one of the most unique tasting I’ve had. Toffee banana on the tongue, but not in a fake way. Finish is heat and chocolate spice. You’re committing a crime if you add anything to this but ice. Slainte!
Mixed with lemonade this creates a superb drink and the rum tastes exactly as discribed
Absaloutely over it, by far the best rum ever, sweet and very morish. Coke ice fresh lime and bumbu...the perfect way to fi ish the night off after a few pints...Mark.H
Do not put a mixer in this. Savour it, it's a sippers not a gulpers.
