A spiced rum, but not as you might expect it – the folks at Brass Neck have been getting rather adventurous with their botanicals. Exploring and experimenting with an array of natural ingredients, some from nearby and others from further afield, this rum includes the likes of tonka beans and orange peel as well as Scottish nettles and milk thistle. It'll certainly stand out from the crowd! The rum itself is proudly distilled in Scotland and has a handsome fox on the label, which is wonderful. It should be a very versatile serve, suitable for being sipped neat, or mixed as your favourite rum cocktail.
Hints of creamy coconut, vanilla essence and sweet tonka bean, burnt caramel and candied oranges, and subtle, earthy, herbal spice.
When I go over to Orlando, I always take a bottle of Scottish rum to my favourite rum bar, been a bit of a running joke as they could not believe we could do anything but whisky. These guys are really experts in the different types and styles of rum and they loved this one, just so smooth, the smell and taste just blew them away, they already have asked can I bring another one, its that good
Purchased a bottle of rum after reading some great reviews and was not disappointed. Rum has a unique flavour away from the standard vanilla spiced rums, and leaves almost a marzipan after taste. Pairs incredibly well with ginger beer, but is also sweet enough that it can be sipped without mixer. I would highly recommended any spiced rum lovers to give this Premium Scottish rum a purchase! You won't be disappointed!
Purchased a bottle at the rum festival it has a very unique taste and goes well with ginger beer a great product
My friend and I visited the Rum Festival in Glasgow at the weekend and after sampling most on show I can confirm that Brass Neck was way ahead of the rest with a gingerbeer mixer. Campbell
Loved it! had it with coke and a slice of lime over ice
