A richly flavoursome rum from the Philippines, inspired by the story of Papa Isio, who played a big part in the late-19th century Philippine revolution. The rum itself is made using sugar cane grown on the island of Negros in the Philippines and matured in oak barrels before its blended and bottled.
Fruity notes up front, with sweet tangerines and apricots. This is followed by vanilla ice-cream, drizzled with runny toffee sauce.
Bags-full of vanilla and cinnamon. Hints of raisin, sultana and marmalade.
Medium length with punchy cinnamon.
Rather exciting stuff.

As a Filipino, I can tell you everything in the Philippines us on the sweet side so I expected this to be the same. I loved the sweetness and depth of flavour.
Considerably sweeter than I'm accustomed to, doesn't need a mixer and tastes quite pleasant over a couple of cubes of ice. Tried it with various mixers but didn't enjoy the experience, the rum itself is just too sweet for that. However drunk plentifully over some ice it's a lovely sweet taste which was a lovely combination after a few pints of golden ale to set the mood. Not the greatest rum on the market bit if you like it sweet it's a great choice.
For some reasons, girls like it. But it is way too sweet. Disgusting sweet, I'd say. The star is for the bottle.
I’m afraid that this rum tastes more like a distillation of an old-fashioned sweet shop than anything else. If you have a very sweet tooth this may be for you. If you don’t, it won’t be.
Superb! Best Rum I've tasted, I have a sweet tooth so this is perfect sipping Rum over ice, love it.
