To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Black Tot Day (the final day that rum rations were issues on British Royal Navy ships), the folks at Speciality Drinks created this limited edition expression. The blend features rum from Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, and Trinidad, as well as a little helping of the original navy rum which has been stored in stone flagons since the 1970s. Immensely impressive.
Cooked pear, roasted coffee beans, cinnamon, fried banana, liquorice, clove, mature oak, nutmeg and a hint of chocolate orange.
