A wonderfully festive aged Caribbean rum from Batch which spent its days maturing in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask that the folks at the distillery picked up on a family holiday to Córdoba! The rum spent 14 months in the cask, so now it's packed full of Christmassy spices and heaps of dried fruit, with a well-balanced dryness from the oak.
Gingerbread, Christmas pudding, caramel chocolate and woody cinnamon, with heaps of raisin, date and a dry, oaky finish.

OMG! This simply has to be the foulest stuff I’ve ever tasted, even worse than Sang Som. I feel you could replicate this using a very poor quality, high proof, vodka, and ‘blending’ it with 5% Oloroso Sherry. Sorry, I have absolutely nothing good I can say about this although I do have a word of advice for you all………………………AVOID!
Looking forward to this rum, got to say I thought it was awful. To me it tasted nothing like rum more like Gin and I don’t like Gin either. Very disappointed, none of the tasting notes came through, Alan Willis.
