The Signature rum from Appleton Estate has had quite the makeover! The fabulous Jamaican rum has been aged in small casks before being blended and married in oak, and bottled at 40% ABV. A flavour-packed spirit that'll add a good tropical splash to all manner of serves!
Caramelised pineapple and candied ginger, with a drizzle of treacle and ripe stone fruit.
Sadly , this rum lacks both body and complexity. It might work for a whisky drinker wanting to transition to rum but I can find little in this that justifies calling it RUM. You get what you pay for and if you're going to drown it with Coke, then I guess it works, well, almost. Sorry Appleton.
Nice clean flavour, mixes well with coke. Price point is very good for the this type of Rum. Kev Doncaster

Enjoying a glass of Appleton 8 year old with a dash of (would believe) maple syrup...! Delicious...! As good as any French Caribbean rum I have taisted be it Dillon, Clément or Damoiseau...
Very good for the price, a solid dependable Jamaican rum, smooth and sweet with notes of toffee apples, caramelised pineapple and sticky ginger cake.
