This rum looses it's flavour very quickly after drinking it and leaves a dry aftertaste. Hints of dark chocolate is there but this rum doesn't hit the mark for me.
1st bought this in Northumberland about 14 years ago and have been drinking it periodically since then. Full of flavour, almost spicy, and very dark. A good rum to drink neat with a cigar!
Since first trying this, I'm now drinking more Alnwick Rum than whisky. It's my go to spirit and is dangerously moreish!
