Rumbullion! is an extraordinary cockle-warming spiced rum, but those clever Ableforth's folks have changed the game with this limited edition Chilli & Chocolate expression! Criollo cocoa nibs, chipotle chillies and jalapeño chillies join the original Rumbullion! medley of Caribbean rum, Madagascan vanilla, orange peel, cassia, clove and cardamom, resulting in an indulgent and spicy flavour profile. Excellent served over ice, and it makes some marvellous cocktails too. Also, we reckon it'll be stunning as a winter warmer splashed in a hot chocolate...
Intense bittersweet dark chocolate leads with coffee beans, nutmeg, red cola cubes and orange zest in support. Earthy red chilli warmth emerges underneath and is balanced by creamy vanilla.
Black Forest gateau, drying cocoa and more thick slabs of dark chocolate are at the core, with gingerbread, cherry cola and hints of aniseed and clove in the back-drop.
Nutmeg, drying chilli heat and even more chocolate.
Total stunner. Feared it might be a "bit of a dare" shot but not a bit of it. Great flavours of the cocoa and the fruitiness of properly good chillis, all backdropped with a genuinely smooth, spiritous rum. Delicious and will buy again!
Yeah whoever came up with those notes, is either lying, drunk or a pretentious arse... I bought this and there are some flavors and as expected people will find tbere own,, but I would not recommend this personally. Reminds me of syrup of figs I got as a kid for bowel movements.. Won't be buying again. I love rum and unique flavors but gave this away. Hope someone enjoys it. The two stars is for the fact I'm sure it's quality but I don't see the chilli or chocolate connection in the flavor and for someone who loves both its hard to find the flavor
