Tawny Port here from Quinta Da Pedra Alta, made with Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grapes. It spends ten years maturing in oak before being bottled up, and it's perfect for enjoying alongside a cheeseboard, or with a good chocolate, or even simply as an aperitif.
Plum and prune, zesty orange and lemon acidity, soft hints of spicy oak tannins.
an ok tawny but well over priced for what it is. 50cl of bog standard tawny makes no sense at all.
I’ve had this a few times and it’s delicious! A vineyard making great strides. Definitely one to try.
