This will need standing upright for at least 24 hours and then carefully decanting off the sediment. Then just cut a bit of cheese, invite a good friend or two over, and sit back and enjoy the magic of vintage port.
Still plenty of fresh fruit on the nose like blackcurrants and brambles with some earthy baking spices. The tannins are now nice and soft and the taste is long leathery and spicy.
