Ireland

A stupendously strong, quadruple distilled offering from Knockeen Hills at 90%abv! At this strength one can imagine why Irish Poteen (pronounced 'putcheen') was outlawed back in the 17th century! One to enjoy in moderation (and probably in a cocktail at that)...
Surprisingly fragrant with citrus, fruit salad and ground mixed nuts.
Sharp peppery heat - this is not one for drinking neat.
Warm and drying.

My father in law and I have tried it, over twenty years ago, both former service men we obviously ignored all the warnings, be aware it slides down very very nicely and tastes very moreish. I was expecting a kick like a mule but it was just like velvet. Do not have more than one, trust me.
Nice good and strong some fruity notes deep down
This is either the tired of life strength, or the raise the dead strength.
