A rare event showcasing Japanese whisky
A celebration of Yamazaki and the House of Suntory
Discover the Spirit of Yamazaki with Raffaele Di Monaco with an extremely unique tasting at Melody Bar, the intimate Japanese-inspired cocktail bar nestled beneath 10 Berners Street. Known for its low-lit atmosphere, considered drinks list and attention to detail, Melody Bar provides a fitting backdrop for a night centred on precision, craft and rare whisky.
The Yamazaki Mizunara 18 and 25 Year Old sit at the heart of this special celebration at Melody Bar, marking a rare moment to experience two of the most sought-after Japanese whiskies in the world. It is a rare chance to encounter these whiskies in an environment that honours both the spirit and the craft behind it.
Alongside the hero releases, we're showcasing the wider House of Suntory collection. Yamazaki favourites appear with the Distiller’s Reserve, 12 and 18 Year Old, plus the full Toki range. Hakushu brings its forest-shaped character with editions spanning the core 12 Year Old to the 100th Anniversary bottlings and limited Tsukuriwake releases. Hibiki adds harmony with the flagship Harmony blend, the elegant 21 Year Old and the revered 30 Year Old. The lineup is completed by Chita grain whisky and the craft spirits of Haku vodka and Roku gin.
Mizunara magic, properly aged
Mizunara is a rare Japanese oak that’s a nightmare to work with and a dream to drink from.
Yamazaki’s team have mastered it, however, and the result is two new single malts aged for 18 and 25 years, full of sandalwood, coconut, and deep, incense-rich complexity.
These are collector-grade, flavour-first drams with proper age statements and serious presence.
