Realm of the Unicorn is a particularly sweet gin-based liqueur from Manchester's Zymurgorium, flavoured to taste like marshmallow alongside classic juniper-y goodness. This glittery liqueur adds a delightful shimmer to cocktails, which is fun.
It does indeed taste like marshmallow! Quite sugary, though juniper does give it a bit of spicy balance.
It's like marmite in that you either love it or hate it. I like sweet things so I really like it and remind the bar staff to shake the bottle so I get my sparkle. I do wish it was easier to buy as I'm not good online
