Oh yes, those folks over at Sweet Little Drinks have bottled up all the deliciousness of hot cross buns! Hot Cross Rum Liqueur (see what they did there?) marries orange, cinnamon and vanilla in a spiced rum base. You'll have to resist drizzling it over the real thing.
A background of wonderfully doughy notes leads into warming baking spice, orange marmalade and sweet vanilla.
Ordered a bottle for myself & a friend. We both love the flavours of hot crossed buns so the description of orange cinnamon & spiced rum lured us in. Sadly we both found this liqueur very underwhelming with only a slight taste of vanilla and none of the promised Hot Cross Bun taste. Does not live up to its description. Could be so much better. I have given it 1 star because we loved the shape of the bottle
Really nice bottle of rum, and will order another one in a couple of months time.
