Fantastic lovely melo taste
This is an amazing drink. I love it so much, I tried saving it only for special occasions... which is where it went wrong. Don’t keep a bottle for more than a year... open it and enjoy it. The flavors change in quite negative ways past a year, I suspect the negative reviews here, involved people with a bottle that was older. Does not age well in glass
Received bottle as a birthday gift. Had heard of it years ago but had not tasted it. Looked forward to my first glass, but I was rather disappointed. It has an odd taste and is sickeningly sweet. I then tried it with added whisky and ice but could not hide the sweet honey flavour. I like most liqueurs I’ve tried but this one is very different and not great on my taste buds. It is rather high on price for an alcoholic volume of only 19.8%. Would rather have a half bottle of Glayva or Drambuie
