Rock Town
Well, Rock Town Distillery have finally put two of our favourite things together; lightning and apple pie!
Unfortunately this didn't actually create the walking, talking apple pie that we thought it would (an idea fuelled by the classic novel Frankenstein and the classic 1986 film Short Circuit). What we've actually got is a sweeter, easier to sip version of Rock Town's Arkansas Lightning (moonshine), with plenty of delicious apple and warming cinnamon, "just like Grandaddy used to make"!
Tried this at a whisky tasting a while ago and loved it, it's amazing just how much it tastes like apple and cinnamon. If you like a sweet tipple this is probably for you, I found it very smooth and frighteningly easy to drink for something that's 20%. To me it tastes just like Christmas.
