The return of the Old Pulteney whisky liqueur! It's been revived and rejuvenated as the Old Pulteney Stroma, named after a Scottish island just off the North East coast where the Pulteney distillery resides. The island's name originates from the Norse phrase "island in the stream", in reference to the notably dangerous waters surrounding it, which is alluded to in the Stroma's beautiful windswept packaging.
Old Pulteney's Stroma has been bottled at a higher strength than their previous whisky liqueur. It is made with a blend of whiskies from the maritime distillery's selection, resulting in a sweet, robust liqueur. Served over ice, it's an excellent drink that's perfect to sip while broodingly staring out into the ocean.
Introduced to it in the NW Highlands a couple of years ago. Wow, even tho it is a bit too sweet for my taste these days. But a wonderful thing to offer to special friends.
Old Pulteney Stroma Whisky Liqueur is absolutely sweet & delicious. I am a big fan of whisky liquers and I recommend you try this one.
So good I was introduced to Stoma Liqueur in Scotland 5 years ago and love it . Is hard to get in Australia so I just order from the UK
Love Old Pulteney single malt so thought I would try this liqueur. It's very nice sweetish but enjoyable on It's own.
Best whisky liqueur I've tasted and I've had three bottles to make sure!
