The return of the Old Pulteney whisky liqueur! It's been revived and rejuvenated as the Old Pulteney Stroma, named after a Scottish island just off the North East coast where the Pulteney distillery resides. The island's name originates from the Norse phrase "island in the stream", in reference to the notably dangerous waters surrounding it, which is alluded to in the Stroma's beautiful windswept packaging.
Old Pulteney's Stroma has been bottled at a higher strength than their previous whisky liqueur. It is made with a blend of whiskies from the maritime distillery's selection, resulting in a sweet, robust liqueur. Served over ice, it's an excellent drink that's perfect to sip while broodingly staring out into the ocean.

First tasted Stroma at Aberdeen airport duty free and fell in love with the warmth and sweetness of this whisky liqueur, just had to buy a bottle to share with my fiance who is equally as impressed with this tipple. very highly recommend.
Came across this when visiting Wick. Truly outstanding and well worth a sram or two
Just had my first taste of Stroma as a Christmas gift from my wife. Gives a great warm glow when sipped, fantastic wee tipple, wife tried to get me Irish mist which I enjoy but glad she found this new blend. Highly recommend
