Nixta
You could probably tell by the name, if not the super fun bottle, what the star of this liqueur is – corn! The Mexican corn liqueur from Nixta is made from maize grown surrounding the Nevado de Toluca volcano, so it's packed full of buttery corn sweetness at 30% ABV. We rather like the thought of this as a sweet addition to an Old Fashioned. And, seriously, can we just take another look at that bottle?!
Buttered popcorn and fresh sweetcorn, swiftly followed by silky caramel.

Very disappointed. All the reviews say strong nose of corn, taste sweet roasted corn etc. I get nothing but sugar. Possibly a spoiled bottle though.
El sabor de México! Highly recommend.
Quite nice Sweet first then mezcal ish Earthy buttery corn not too claggy but better with ice.
