The story of Mrs Dorothy Cuthbert as a proud home baker from the 1940s who lived in Halifax, Yorkshire, also says that she was known to garnish her G&Ts with a cake ingredient. Her nephew now makes gin liqueurs inspired by her, so it was only a matter of time before they got to cherry Bakewell.
It was produced in North Yorkshire using a six botanical gin, including juniper, citrus and a touch of star anise, which is then combined with biscuit, vanilla and cherry flavours.
Creamy vanilla, tart red fruit, a little marzipan and an unmistakable note of star anise.

Absolutely Lovely cocktail mixed with a measure of Amaretto, lemonade, ice and cherries in :)
One of the nicest gins I've tasted. The flavouring was lovely but not over powering. Looking forward to trying more flavours!
