This is cherry liqueur is made using tart (as opposed to sweet cherries) as such it has a much more pointed flavour balanced out by additional sugar. This liqueur woks well in a number of gin based cocktails.
Sharp cherry and sweet alcohol aromas leading to tart cherry balanced with sugar-syrup like notes on the palate, leading to a slightly bitter finish.
