A truly fabulous whiskey liqueur from Jack Daniel's. Jack Daniel's Honey is made with a mix of rich spices and smooth, supple honey. JD Honey is delicious over ice or in coffee.
Caramel and charred oak, a little orange blossom, manuka honey and vanilla.
Thick and creamy with notes of vanilla, toasty oak, honey again, a little apricot too.
Good length - rounded and rich.

Don't buy this "whiskey". It's just synthetic honey flavoring in a bottle. It makes you sad and less of a man (or woman). Seriously, simply buy any other bottle of booze: Jack Daniels, Jameson, Wild Turkey, Monarch, or even Yukon Jack. Doesn't matter, stay away from this bullshit. You won't find happiness here, only sorrow. Go for a cheap single malt scotch and impress your friends. Spend the money on 12 yr Laphroaig, a Lochnagar 12, shit, any single malt for this pricpoint is going to rock your shit. Why is this even an option? Seriously, why are you considering it? Do yourself and your friends/guests a favor and look elsewhere. Turn back now. Single malt. Scotch. This is not the Whiskey you seek.
If you like whiskey this is not for you. Awful cough medicine after taste.
Truly awful. Whoever says it ha a smooth finish must have already burned off all their taste buds. Took a chilled shot of it at a bar that didn't have American Honey. Big mistake. I tried drinking anything to get the after taste out of mu mouth for the rest of the night. I am a huge JD fan and drink everything from JD black to Johnny Walker Blue. Save yourself time and aggravation and just buy American Honey.
Keep the bottle in the fridge. Drink neat. If you are drinking Jack, you are drinking Tennessee Mash, NOT Bourbon after all. Some mix No 7 with Coke - in the UK that is now "officially" called a Lemmy, after the great man. Some are now mixing Jack Honey with coke, but most mix with lemonade. Personally, I only mix Whisky with Whisky. I'm a traditionalist.
Ok having read most of the reviews on here it's obvious that the whiskey/ bourbon snobs either like to take the mickey out of this or humour people by saying it's a nice starter whiskey. Look bourbons are over 40% abv and not so smooth leaving a strong heat after taste warming/ burning feeling in the back of your throat. This on the other hand is not that, this is a nice, sweet, smooth, yummy tasting mildly warming 35% abv whiskey which will appeal to those who can't go the strong taste of bourbon or high abv whiskeys.. so each to their own... I've just had a shot of citrus high ball Wild Turky followed later on by JD Honey and I love them both...
