An Irish whiskey liqueur, Irish Mist is made with whiskey, honey and herbs.
My Irish wife spoke misty eyed about this liqueur which her family enjoyed at Christmas so I bought a bottle to surprise her, she says this is NOT the drink she enjoyed in Ireland being much sweeter than original. I fear comments about killing the brand may be true. It contains SUGAR as well as honey !
I love it I've been buying and drinking it since the 1980s when the bottle was beautiful like a crystal decanter
Like many others I loved the original Irish Mist. The honey was acceptable. But now I can't find either, anywhere. I'd prefer the original, but a this point will buy any I can find.
I love it. It's my tipple but sadly, can't buy it anywhere in Ards Peninsula county Down.
