Huana Liqueur Bottling Note

Huana Mayan Guanabana Rum Liqueur is made in Mexico using the Guanabana fruit (which is sometimes known as the Soursop). This interesting fruit is said to taste somewhat like a mix between a strawberry and a pineapple, with a touch of coconut creaminess. Sounds pretty delicious, right? How about a liqueur made with said fruit and rum, too? Yep, still sounds pretty darn delicious.

Fascinating rum liqueur, unique light flavours
we bought this with the Lord Nelson (I 'd assumed I'd prefer the latter, but actually found it a little too sweet). The Huana was a lovely discovery - a light rum liqueur, with a fascinating aftertaste - more botanical than floral I'd say, quite unlike anything we had had before. I can't see it lasting long this festive season!

light liqueur of complex flavours
We had purchased this, plus the Lord Nelson, and I assumed I'd prefer the latter (actually I found that too sweet) The Huana was a lovely discovery; great layered flavours, yet very light, and a fascinating aftertaste - I'd call that botanical rather than floral. Delightful on ice. I can't see this lasting very long over this festive season!!

great taste
a honey , rum liquer, with a slightly perfume taste.. definitely an unusual taste.. tastes like nothing you have probably had before. I bought 6 bottles of it back duty free at Cancun airport ($23.00 per bottle with the USD exchange rate at the time) , gave it as gifts, also kept alot for myself.. everyone, including me.. LOVED IT well worth a try
