The on-line ordering service and delivery was very good. We use the genever as part of Nigella Lawson's 'Amsterdamage' Cocktail - double genever, double cointreau double dry vermounth couple of drops of angustura or orange bitters over ice with a slice of orange. Very slow 'sipping' cocktail
A delicious blend of botanicals make for a delightful drinking pleasure. A little on the bitter side with tonic but an absolute charm with bitter lemon. The acidity counteracting the bitterness to make a perfect pairing. Best served at room temperature with the addition of one lump of ice if desired
A gift from Dutch friends. Smooth and intriguing, a little like a soft whisky but with botanics which are a trade secret. Should apparently be enjoyed at room temperature without tonic water. You will not be disappointed.
