Highland Park 12 Year Old walks that lovely line between smoke and sweetness without falling face first into either. You’ve got soft Orkney peat drifting through molasses, dried fig, orange peel, ripe pear, and heaps of buttery shortbread, with cinnamon spice humming away in the background. It’s balanced, charming, and dangerously easy to pour another dram of. Reminds you why Highland Park became a classic in the first place.
