A tasty three year old grappa here from the hugely talented Andrea Da Ponte team. It's made with pomace from both red and white grapes, and distilled using a continuous double rectification method as well as a bain-marie. Afterwards, it was matured in Slavonian oak casks before being bottled up at 40% ABV.
Honey and oak, with layers of green apple and waxy peels.
