The Glenlivet 20
2.3 Small batch
Cask strength Glenlivet. Ours alone.
We don’t throw the word exclusive around lightly. When we put our name next to a cask or a batch, it has to earn it.
Glenlivet Small Batch 2.3 20 Year Old does that.
This is part of The Glenlivet’s Small Batch Collection, a series built around carefully selected parcels of casks chosen to spotlight a particular flavour profile. In this case, the theme is Orchard Fruitiness.
American oak barrels, second-fill Scotch barrels, and second-fill American oak hogshead layer sweetness, structure, and gentle oak influence over two decades of patient ageing.
Think less vague tasting note, more full-blown fruit bowl.
And you can only get it here.
Glenlivet Small Batch 2.3 20 Year Old
This Glenlivet 20 Year Old, nicknamed Orchard Fruitiness, is drawn from a trio of cask types: first-fill American oak barrels for vanilla sweetness, second-fill Scotch barrels for complex spice, and second-fill American oak hogsheads for structure. Two decades in wood have allowed those elements to knit together, while the cask strength 56.2% ABV adds weight, texture, and plenty of aromatic lift. It’s rich without being heavy, vibrant without being brash, and the distillery’s trademark fruit character takes centre stage.
Tasting Notes

Juicy ripe pears, crisp red apples. Sweet cherries, treacle sponge, with a hint of clove and sweet toasted oak.
Palate:
Spiced apple slices, caramelised figs, ripe plums, fresh nectarines, toffee sauce, followed by warming baking spices, namely cinnamon.
Finish:
Incredibly fruity and syrupy.
