The Wood Brothers are at it again, concocting tasty spirit with ingredients grown on their farm. This time they've made their very own gin, featuring the same English winter wheat that goes to make the Wood Brothers Single Estate Vodka, as well as the aforementioned farm-grown herbs and traditional gin botanicals.
Juniper is prominent, with thyme and basil in tow. Some spicy cinnamon and nutmeg hints develop along the way.
Excellent smooth tasting gin that can be drunk on its own, with a bright tonic, or as a base for a martini. The bottle also conveys the heritage of the area and the field to bottle philosophy.
I've been drinking Woods gin for a while now, its now a family favourite. Excellent taste, finish and the bottle design is very cool. Definitely worth a punt.

Really loved this. A friend of mine had recommended it. I bought a few bottles for a party. It has to be one of the best gins out there, hands down. I cannot rate highly enough. Plus the bottle is outrageously cool.
