An excellent gin from the folks at Chase, taking a great whack of inspiration from autumnal flavours. You've got your rhubarb. You've got your Great British apple. You've got tasty gin earthy notes to balance them all out. Basically, this couldn't taste more like autumn unless you served it from a woolly hat filled with roast potatoes (not advisable). Wonderful stuff.
Cooked fruit with a sprinkle of brown sugar, peppery juniper and earthy clove, a kick of cinnamon, subtly tangy rhubarb coming through on the mid-palate.
The sweetness appears tart but mellows the more you drink. At first the apple is stronger but the more you drink the rhubarb pierces through. Very palatable.
F**king lovely. Can’t believe gin and tonic can taste this good!
Delicious on its own for pudding!
Refreshing, crisp with ice and tonic
what an awful concoction , oxidized apple , terrible botanical selection what is it trying to be. not a gin thats for sure
