An excellent gin from the folks at Chase, taking a great whack of inspiration from autumnal flavours. You've got your rhubarb. You've got your Great British apple. You've got tasty gin earthy notes to balance them all out. Basically, this couldn't taste more like autumn unless you served it from a woolly hat filled with roast potatoes (not advisable). Wonderful stuff.
Cooked fruit with a sprinkle of brown sugar, peppery juniper and earthy clove, a kick of cinnamon, subtly tangy rhubarb coming through on the mid-palate.
I love the Chase Pink Grapefruit gin (and went through more bottles than I'd like to admit over the summer) but now that summer is over and the nights are drawing in I wanted to switch to something different. Gorgeous Gin just in time for Christmas, LOVE this with med tonic! Xx
