The distillers behind Chase Gin have astutely figured out that combining pink grapefruit and pomelo makes for a supremely bright, zippy gin, topped off by its blushing pink hue. As you probably worked out already, this makes a brilliant G&T and shines in all manner of citrusy summery serves.
Fresh tropical fruit notes sit up front, with plenty of enjoyable citrus acidity at its core. Juniper notes act as a spicy foil to the full-bodied sweetness.
This is one of my favourite gins (I have about 20 different ones in the house). It has a very zesty grapefruit taste, with a smooth quality gin base and a long lingering after taste of grapefruit. I like to just sit and smell it in using a brandy glass , taking very small sips drinking it neat at room temperature
