Wildjac is a homegrown distillery that forages ingredients from the Wyre Forest in Worcestershire to make its range of all-natural botanical spirits. Its Apple and Elderberry Gin is a fruit forward expression made using botanicals of angelica, orange, raspberries, and Shropshire prune damsons. Like all of Wildjac’s spirits, it’s batch distilled in ‘Prudence’, a copper pot still named after the famous ‘Severn Trow’ – a cargo boat that sailed botanicals and spices to the port of Bewdley in the early 19th Century.
Juniper, fresh apple and red berries on the nose with jammy damsons and sweet raspberries on the palate and a floral hint on the finish.
