No imitations here, this tasty expression from Whitby Gin is flavoured with real rhubarbs, grown in Yorkshire, and picked by candlelight, no less! Since the 1800s, traditional growers in Yorkshire have used the technique of depriving rhubarb plants of sunlight, resulting in extra sweetness and colour – this is what's called 'forced rhubarb'. It certainly works well alongside the selection of traditional botanicals, which have also been collected from the local Yorkshire coastline (but allowed to grow with a normal amount of sunlight, as far as we know).
Sweet, juicy rhubarb and crunchy juniper tangle beautifully, with a good balance of tanginess, a touch of anise, and gentle peppery warmth.

Sweet yet tart. It's obvious that real rhubarb is used in this as there are no artificial flavours. I absolutely love it.
