Ungava is a very intriguing Canadian gin, made using six rare botanicals which bestow upon it a distinctive flavour profile and its natural, vibrant colour. These hand-picked botanicals include Nordic juniper, Arctic blend, cloudberry, crowberry, labrador tea, and wild rose hips. It is named after the Ungava Peninsula, which can be found at the northern tip of Quebec, Canada.
Peppermint tea, pine and a touch of lemon curd. Floral wafts of white flowers develop.
Sweet summer berries with a hint of fig. Spicy notes of juniper sit at its core.
Peppermint turns to sweet spearmint alongside fading layers of caramel.
$32.44 - $71.30
This is just delightful. It’s fresh, smooth and has just the right amount of fruit and citrus notes. Its certainly up there with my favourites.
Very different nose. Ignore comments made by ignorant gin drinkers who do not understand concept of bottanicals. For sure not for everyone's like but those of you who smeled northern breeze at a pine forest will love it.
A friend of mine told me about "ungava" gin, I both a bottle and I have to say, I am a gin lover, however YOUR UNGAVA is the absolute BEST. Hope I will find it at my local BC. liquor store anytime . Thanks so much for making such a great product. Proudly Canadian !!!!
Absolutely fabulous; clean, dry, aromatic, lemony ... make a terrible martini (the colour browns and the taste becomes murky), but super in a G&Tor neat over ice. The only gin I can drink neat. This was my all time favourite gin when I lived in Canada.
This is the best gin I have ever had. It is wonderful with tonic and some lime or even lemon. Typically I have found that other gins are too sharp to go well with lemon but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It is by far my favourite gin, I especially love the sweetness it has without being overpowering.
