Inspired by the gardening fascination and Tuscan cuisine appreciation of Zio Valerio, this gin features a small selection of botanicals the eponymous Val was fond of using while cooking. This includes cucumber, sage, lavender and lemon.
Richly herbaceous, with sage sticking out among the crowd. A refreshing burst of cucumber and lemon follows up.

I first discovered this gin while visiting Port Angeles, Washington, and it truly took me by surprise. It’s unlike any other gin I’ve tried — beautifully herbal, perfectly balanced, and full of character. It’s neither overpowering nor timid, just incredibly well-crafted. In my opinion, it’s one of the most underrated gins out there. Hard to find, but devilishly good.
This is something I really just can’t describe, nor form a set opinion on. It is not dissimilar to drinking a whole country meadow, or a sexy version of dandelion and burdock. It’s wild, a thousand crazy foraged flavours punching your tongue like a tree just hit your car. It’s not something I’d drink all day each day, but once a week or so, it’s a truly incredible drink. Honestly, it’s not even just “a drink”, it’s an actual wild experience and each sip somehow varies from the last. Give it a go, you’ll agree with everything I’ve just said, I put money on it.
