Twisted Nose
Twisted Nose Gin comes from the picturesque city of Winchester in Hampshire. It is made in very small batches in traditional copper stills. The botanical selection includes juniper, grapefruit zest, cassia bark, fennel seed, orris, angelica, lavender and, most notably, locally-grown watercress. The humble watercress offers a delicate sweetness and peppery sparkle to this wonderful London Dry gin. The name comes from the word the Romans used for watercress, "Nasturtium", which means twisted nose.
Excitingly spicy with bright peppery notes, balanced by the sweet herbs.
Crisp grapefruit comes through clean, adorned by the lively fennel and subtle floral hints. Bold pepper appears further on.
Rather long and full, with citrus lasting until the end.
An excellent craft London dry, distinctive and full of flavour.

A delightful taste and a great-looking bottle. Very fresh tasting and refined, would recommend.
Ok, so I'm biased - I grew up in the village where this special gin is made (surrounded by the watercress beds). This gin's special 'twist' of watercress and lavender gives a truly unique and sophisticated taste, peppery, balanced and absolutely delicious. No need to tart it up with silly tonics - this is the real deal and worth every penny! PS - I now live in Belgium and have Belgian friends who adore this Gin, beats all the best Gins from here and many more commercial popular choices.
This, along with Gin Mare, is one of my favourite gins. I get a new gin every birthday and the name and bottle appealed. Probably not the best way to chose a gin but hey it works for me. It has a warmth to it and is not too sweet. Citrusy and fresh. It won’t appeal to everyone as some else has pointed out - it would be a boring world if we all had the same taste! If you love citrusy gins like Gin Mare try this one.
We love this - bottle and the gin inside. To be honest we find it quite hard to differentiate between some gins on the market - especially when mixed. What we love about this is we were able to pick it out and recognise on a few recent tastings we did. The watercress gives it that warmth as other people have said it is a more savoury gin - not sweet like some. Love it with Artisan Drinks Pink citrus tonic or a plain tonic water. I also agree with another reviewer who said if you like Gin Mare you'll like this - I also love Gin Mare - but this is better. And the MOM price is amazing. Christmas shopping now underway!
Surprised at the negative reviews here without people recognising that people inherently like different stuff (floral v citrus etc). All those criticising this gin (and even the bottle, which is just laughable) are devoid of taste. I was bought this as a gift and I love it. Light and refreshing, definitely a bit of citrus and I think someone mentioned fennel which I agree with. I have mine with a wedge and lime, and basic fully fat Schweppes. I will be buying my next bottle imminently.
