A London dry gin all the way from Devon, made with a combination of 11 botanicals extracted by vapour infusion. The recipe includes juniper, sage, green cardamom, black cardamom, angelica, elderflower, cassia, liquorice, pink peppercorn and more. The name comes from a type of small white flower the can grow on the roofs of thatched houses which, according to the lore, could ward off both lightning and witchcraft. Handy if you're plagued by thunderstorms and witches.
Enjoyably green and vegetal, the sage and eldeerflower shining through. Juniper is strong and oily, with hints of liquorice and angelica bringing soft sweetness to the mix.
This is one of the most delicious gins I have ever tried! Love it!
I had the opportunity to taste Thunderflower gin at my wedding last year in Spain and we loved it. I was lucky enough to be able to bring a bottle back with me to Australia where I've been sharing it with close friends. I love the spiciness of this gin and have been paring it with a fevertree elderflower tonic. I also enjoy this gin with a single cube of ice. Five stars from me!!
Had this gin at a wedding in the UK last year, it was wonderful. Brought a bottle back to France and it has been a real hit with guests. In fact it's the only gin I've ever tried that is also nice to drink neat, the blend of botanicals they use gives it a complex flavour while also being subtle enough to mix well. Very highly recommended.
It tastes like petrol
Tried first time at No7 Fish bistro Torquay... with lemonade.... Beautiful and mellow..
